Everyone has faith, but it’s how you use it that really counts. We all, have everyday faith in common things, like the bus arriving to pick you up if you stand at the bus stop or working 40 hours and expecting your employer to pay you at the end of the week. These types of things are easy to do. When it comes to stretching your faith and believing God for something that you know you cannot do on your own, that’s when the challenge begins. Did you know that you must exercise your faith for God to be happy with you? In Hebrews 11:6, the bible says ‘But without faith it is impossible to please Him…’

In a recent message, I talked about ‘Playing your FAITH CARD’.  It is a metaphor for using your secret weapon or Trump card like in a game of Spades. I used the example of when you ‘Run a Boston’ in Spades and slam your cards down, one-by-one, showing the other team that they don’t stand chance. When God is backing you, the enemy doesn’t stand a chance. When you use your faith and trust God for something you can use your faith card as a reminder that with God as your partner, you always win.
